HONESTY IS A LIFESTYLE
I couldn’t move to Arizona without telling you again how pleased I have been to be a customer of yours for nearly 17 years. Always, without fail, your firm has provided the best in car care. I knew I was getting an accurate diagnosis of problems, fair prices and careful workmanship. And you and your staff have always been pleasant to work with. Just one example of why I was a loyal customer: I called one morning early to say that my battery was dead. By the time AAA had jump-started the car and I arrived at BWT, you had ordered and received the new battery and were ready to install it. I was only minutes late to work. Amazing. I know that others whom I have recommended to you also continue to be loyal customers. Thank you Billy, for the kind of service we all hope for and rarely get. - Marilyn Wolfe
This letter is an unsolicited recommendation of Billy and his business, where my family has brought their cars for many years. I have known Billy to be completely honest and trustworthy, and we have recognized that his work is dependable and superior. At no time has BWT ever performed needless or “extra” work; rather, they have consistently given options and advice if a repair is costly. I recommend this enterprise heartily and without reservation. – Mary S. Meade
As I was leaving my brother’s house in Vienna on my way home to Delaware, my air conditioning on my 12-year-old Tahoe stopped functioning. My brother, Jim Matthews, said, “Take it over to Billy and see what he can do.” My brother and his whole family have been going to BWT for years and have had nothing but the best service from them. He has always spoken very highly of you. You took my Tahoe in the bay immediately and diagnosed the problem. After ordering parts, you fixed the problem and I was on my way back to Delaware in no time. Nacho was very professional and courteous. Billy, you and your crew of wonderful mechanics are a tribute to an honest and fair business. I am so happy my brother recommended you. – Sue Matthews
To The Editor: How many times have we heard someone complain of getting ripped off by their auto mechanic? Well, I received an interesting call today – the second day of the new year. It might have been a new year’s resolution to be honest – down to the penny – but I have the feeling this is a common practice at BWT on Mill Street in Vienna. I’d had a new thermostat installed this week and the call was to let me know that they had mistakenly charged my credit card for $3 more than the amount of my invoice. That’s $3 – not $300 or even $30. Would I like them to run a credit through or note it on my account toward my next visit? I was amazed but not surprised, having noticed the byline on their invoices over the years – “Honesty is a lifestyle.” I wanted to take this opportunity to recognize the integrity of a local business, practicing what they preach. – Amy Kunselman, written to the Vienna and Oakton Connection Newspaper
